Meet our Administrative Team

Originally from Wales, Emma studied biological sciences at the University of Warwick, before moving to the Cotswolds in 1998. She worked as a travelling head girl for National Hunt trainers, and as an estate, stud and racing secretary, before joining our reception team in 2014, where she processes our clients’ insurance claims. She has ridden show ponies, working hunters and eventers from a young age, and enjoys spending her free time riding, walking her dog and visiting her mum and her ponies in Herefordshire.

A lifelong horse lover, Katie grew up in Northamptonshire and moved to the Cotswolds in 2002. She joined the BVEC team in 2019, and heads up the administrative side of our export certificate service, as well as managing our vets’ diaries and supporting them with paperwork. She previously worked as a groom and travelling head girl for National Hunt trainers, and more recently has owned and run her own B&B.

Fran has been with us since 2022, and works closely with our stud vets and their clients. She is a qualified AMTRA RAMA (SQP), meaning she has undertaken further studies to ensure she can give appropriate and up-to-date advice on responsible worming. She has travelled all over the world with her family, and has been a groom for multiple professional event riders. In her own time, she enjoys walking her dogs and riding her horse.

A lifelong local, Caroline joined our team in 2023. She worked as a hunting groom for many years before going to work at Bamford as a senior front of house team member. Outside of work, she enjoys competing her two retrained racehorses, Mouse and Twirl, in the ROR showing series.
