  • Chloe Wright

    Chloe Wright

    Head Nurse

    RVN

    Chloe grew up on a local stud farm, and worked on a hunt yard and at an American racing yard before joining us in 2018. She achieved a distinction in her animal management course, and qualified as a registered equine veterinary nurse in 2021, before progressing to head nurse three years later. In her own time, she enjoys riding horses, walking her dogs and spending time on the stud at her home.

    Sue holds a higher national diploma in biological science and has worked with many types of horses, including eventers, hunters and polo ponies. Before joining BVEC in 2006, she spent five seasons with the leading national hunt trainer Nigel Twiston-Davies. As our lead bone scan technician, she processes images for interpretation by our team of vets, as well as managing our dispensary. In her spare time, she enjoys competing her own horse and baking.

    Nursing Assistant

    Originally from Poland, Magda joined us as a groom in 2007, before taking a break for a few years to work with racehorses in Newmarket and the Cotswolds. She holds a management and marketing qualification, and as an experienced rider and riding instructor, she was a regular on the Polish show jumping circuit. In her spare time, she loves scuba diving and exploring the UK.

    Before joining us in 2021, Amy worked at a small animal practice and an equine hospital in Wiltshire. She qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2019, before completing her higher-level diploma in equine veterinary nursing. Her areas of interest include equine behaviour, lameness rehabilitation, neonatal nursing and inpatient intensive care. Outside of work, she enjoys visiting her family in Cornwall and riding her horse, Dashing Dexter.

    Vicki graduated from Hartpury University in 2021, during which time she spent a year working at B&W Equine Hospital in South Gloucestershire, before joining our team in 2023. Having grown up on a sheep farm, she has always had a passion for animal care, and particularly enjoys emergency nursing and neonatal care. In her own time, she enjoys working on a local sheep farm, riding her horse and playing rugby.

    Student Veterinary Nurse

    Faye worked in property for five years, before deciding that a career change was on the cards and enrolling on an equine veterinary nursing course at university. She completed a placement year with our practice while completing her degree, and stayed on during her final year of studies. She has a huge passion for horses and cats.

    Dennis leads our in-house laboratory and is responsible for processing any samples that we send to external laboratories.He graduated with a degree in biomedical science in 2023, and his main interests include biochemistry, cytology and diagnostics. Outside of work, you can often find him at the gym, reading manga or playing games.

    After finishing her A levels and working at an ethical riding school and a livery yard, Rosie joined our team in 2024 as an animal care assistant. Having grown up around horses, she has always been interested in equine care. Outside of work, she enjoys watching Formula 1, spending time with friends and walking her dogs.
